About the Event
Self-Healing through Mindful Movement: Yoga & More - A Holistic Approach
Join us for a transformative experience that combines guided meditation with slow, gentle movements. Discover how to listen to your body and interpret its signals, allowing for deep healing of the mind, body, and spirit.
Our classes draw inspiration from a range of approaches, including somatic movements, yoga, qigong, Feldenkrais, and native healing techniques. Our goal is to increase awareness of the mind-body-spirit connection and to help you awaken new pathways for thoughts, emotions, and physical movements.
Classes run on Tuesdays and Thursdays in September, from 11:45 am to 12:45 pm.
Each session begins and ends with short guided meditations, with a focus on mindful movements in between.
Melanie Riley, our licensed Physical Therapist and group exercise instructor, leads the class. Her expertise and experience in slower, meditative movements offer a unique perspective on the healing power of movement.
